Joey starts by talking about his time back in high school as a drummer and how he started to write and develop plug-ins. Does niall horan use auto tune in mirros. Joey is one of the founder directors of drum sample library company Drumforge, which James believes to be ones of, if not the most natural sounding drum library available. They talk about the Drumforge ethos about how they create a new product. Working from a solutions perspective rather than that of a product.
To say Joey keeps himself busy could be the understatement of the year, as along side his involvement with Drumforge and JST, Joey also now runs a training company called The Unstoppable Recording Machine and online tutorial website for rock and metal production called Nail The Mix. Joey talks about some of his time management strategies and he extensive used of Google Drive.
For a young man of 32, Joey has so far achieved a great deal in both his music production and music tech carriers and from what you will hear he has no plans for stopping anytime soon.
